The more you ride, the more your wheels wear, and the more this wear comes into contact with the tube, leading to ruptures.  Our rim tape was developed to give extra protection from flats, creating a solid barrier between the tube and wheel, keeping your tires free from flats and your bike on the road instead of on your back.  A definite must have for any urban rider.
